2016 READING CHALLENGE

I came across this challenge on Becca's blog (here), although I believe it was originaly posted (here). I thought, what a great way to read a wider range of books and to expand my reading. I'm going to attempt it, I can't promise that it'll be complete though! I've decided to try a lot of things in 2016, so let's see how it all goes. I feel like I'll just forget about half of it!

Here's the challenge, I can't wait to see if I can complete it! I will cheat a little and cross a few off with one book, but hey life still happens you know!

A book based on a fairytale The Wrath and the Dawn (it counts, ok?)
A national book award winner
A YA bestseller
A book you haven't read since high school
A book set in your home state The Girl on the Train
A book translated to English
A romance set in the future
A book set in Europe Prisoner of Night and Fog
A book that's under 150 pages
A New York Times bestseller
A book that's becoming a movie this year
A book recommended by someone you just met
A self improvement book
A book you can finish in a day
A book written by a celebrity
A political memoir
A book at least 100 years older than you
A book that's more than 600 pages
A book from Oprah's Book Club
A science-fiction novel
A book recommended by a family member
A graphic novel
A book that is published by 2016
A book with a protagonist who has your occupation
A book that takes place during Summer The Girl on the Train
A book and its prequel
A murder mystery Prisoner of Night and Fog
A book written by a comedian
A dystopian novel
A book with a blue cover
A book of poetry
The first book you see in a bookstore
A classic from the 20th century
A book from the library
An autobiography
A book about a road trip
A book about a culture you're unfamiliar with The Wrath and the Dawn
A satirical book
A book that takes place on an island
A book that's guaranteed to bring you joy

I'd love recommendations for any of these challenges! Especially for some of the ones I'd find a little harder to read (Political memoir, a book by a celebrity, a graphic novel, a book 100 years older than me(what) and autobiography etc). So recommendations are more than welcome!:)

  2. I did the 2015 one but I failed XD So I don't think I'll be joining this one, since I felt so much pressure last year to complete it and I don't want to feel it again :D Goodluck!
