Book Haul - 03/01/14

So today I went down to the shops, in the pouring rain and came back with around 8 books! This is like, so many for me! I never buy this many books... actually I never buy books at all because I usually read on my kindle but I found a few charity shops and I know that a lot of people within the book blogging and booktube community find really good books from charity shops! So without further ado, here is what I bought:

So at the top I bought Kensuke's Kingdom - Michael Morpurgo. I read this with my school back in Year 6 and remember loving it, so I bought it purely because of the memories it brings me! It was 99p.
The Time Traveller's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger and The Help - Kathryn Stockett are the next ones! I love the movies and these books have been on my TBR list for like ages! So I was really happy when I found it for 99p!
City of Bones - Cassandra Clare: I really enjoyed this series and I saw the whole series in The Works for £2.99 each, I didn't wanna buy all of them but I thought, I should physically have at least the first one because it's one of my most memorable series!
The Book Thief - Marcus Zusak: Everyone rants and raves about this book and it literally sounds like just my cup of tea! I've been looking for it for ages, so when I found it at the British Heart Foundation charity for £2 I had to pick it up!

L.A. Candy Series- Lauren Conrad: Omg, I have been wanting to read this series for ages, but they were so expensive I didn't want to spend a lot on a book/trilogy that I wasn't sure I'd like. So when I saw these three hardback copies that were in perfectly good/nearly perfect condition for like £1.50 each, I just had to buy them. I'm so so excited I found these! Such a bargain.

Charity shops are now my favourite places to find little hidden treasures!

  1. I have really been wanting to do to read The Time Traveler's Wife and The Help too! Do you think you could do a review when you are finished with them?

    1. I definitely will! I love the movies and I've heard the books are better, so I can't wait to get to them! It'll most likely be next month, but we shall see! I have such high expectations, I hope they live up to it!
