One Lovely Blog Award!

Well hey there, I've been nominated for yet another blog award, this time the One Lovely Blog Award woo! I was nominated by Alexis at Mad for Books! Thanks so much for nominating me chika!

Right, let's see what all this is about.

The Rules!
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. List rules and display award.
3. Give seven facts.
4. Nominate 15 other bloggers and notify them.
5. Display award logo and follow the blogger who nominated you!

The Facts!
Oh god, I hate facts
1. I've lived in 3 different countries in my lifetime.
My dad's family live in America so when I was younger, he decided he wanted to be back with them so we all moved there. I was around 2/3 years old, and left when I was 5/6. I have no memory of living there, my sister was born and then we left. I've seen loads of videos of my life there and now conclude that I was living the high life.

I was born in London, England. I have lived most of my life here and it's my home. We left to go to America when I was 2, and then came back 3 years later.
A few years later, we moved... yet again.

My family are from Cyprus, my grandparents were born there. Our religion is a branch of Christianity called Greek Orthodox, so that's my background. My dad wanted to move there, I don't really know why but it wasn't the best decision he's ever made.
A year and a half later, my parents separated and my mum, sister and I moved back to the UK.

2. I used to be terrible in school.
Yeah, I was a little rebel. I thought I was cool. I wasn't, I could have done so much better with my grades but oh well. When I tell people they're like 'what! no way, but you're so quiet!'. I guess it goes to show people can change. But secretly, I had so much fun getting into trouble - lots of stories for the future children!
* Don't do what I did. Be good in school, you'll regret it if you don't!
 3. My eye colours are different.
My left eye is a slightly hazel/green colour and my right eye is just plain brown. My dad used to say that if I waited another week when I was born, I coud have had green eyes. Why was I in such a rush!

4. I really love stationery.
Like it's weird. I buy notebooks and pens and I pretty much never use them. I have a planner that I love to use and decorate- but half the time I forget to fill it in... I have a ton of coloured pens, biro and sharpies and ink pens. I want to go back to uni now so I have a reason to write things down. That's normal right?

5. I love arguing.
But not just any kind of arguing. Arguing with boyfriends is like my favourite thing ever. I have no idea why, because when it happens - I get all upset and scared we'll break up, but then I'm always looking for reasons to argue. It's so much fun! Unfortunately, my boyfriend knows that and never takes the bait, all he says is 'stop trying to start an argument *laughing face*'. I will never stop trying.

6. I've been reading books since I can remember
Since it wasn't cool when I was younger (is it even cool now?!) I tried to hide it and didn't read as much as I wanted to. No one I was ever friends with liked reading, so it was like my dirty little secret. Cool popular kid during the day, geeky book nerd at night. Shhh.

7. I love all things creative.
As you probably guessed from my stationery obsession... the only issue is, I don't have one creative bone in my body. So all the times I wanted to paint or draw pictures, to customize notebooks or decorate planners and scrapbooks, it just never turned out as pretty as some of the ones I see online. I used to watch (and sometimes still do) youtube videos of planner decorations and scrapbook ideas and I loved it but I just can't do it myself. I'm much more of a written/word type of person.

  1. Oh, I love arguing too! I think I would've made a great lawyer had I gone that route! LOL! I also try to be creative and artsy; I can see the perfect project in my head and then it gets lost in translation most of the time! Writing seems to come easiest to me! Thanks so much for nominating me and congratulations on your nomination! :)

  2. Ditto! I nearly did go down that route ;) Yes, that's what I was looking for 'lost in translation' - pretty much sums it all up! You're very welcome for the nomination:D
