Harry Potter Page to Screen: The Complete Filmmaking Journey - Bob McCabe

As you might know, I've been wanting the Harry Potter: Page to Screen book for years now. Ever since it came out, I longed for it. But £40 on a book? I couldn't do it. No matter how much of a Harry Potter fan I was, I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a book. Now however.. I had someone to buy it for me! (That sounds awful, it's not like that I promise!)

My boyfriend a few weeks/months ago, decided (to my horror) to go through my blog. I have the biggest issue with people from my real life knowing about my blogs, I don't know why I just do. But I did tell him about it, and I'm so glad I did. He scrolled through pages and pages of posts, and found a post where I said I really wanted this but no one would get it for me. I asked for every birthday, for every Christmas, and still nothing. And this time, I didn't even have to ask. I think it's the most thoughtful thing anyone's ever done for me, and I couldn't be happier. So thank YOU so much for this!

I now want to show you a few pictures of what it contains, I've only read a page so far but it's really amazing. It's so interesting and detailed. I'd definitely recommend it, it's worth the price. It really is.

Pictures from the movie

Illustrations and photos of the costumes worn!

Information on iconic places in the wizarding world!

Information about the magical creatures we see in the books!

I love the front cover. It's honestly beautiful, it looks like a book you might find in the library at Hogwarts!
This is my favourite page, it feels like a school yearbook!
I'm so pleased with this book. It's the best Christmas present I could have ever asked for (even though I technically didn't ask for it!)

I can't wait to read this monster of a book, I know it will take me a while but I'm ready for it! Harry Potter played such a big part in my childhood and it's amazing that even to this day there's still new information being released.

So there you go guys, that's my little run-down of the book. If you haven't got it yet, it's definitely worth a buy!
